Malvolio
Malvolio is a character from William Shakespeare's play, Twelfth Night. He serves as the steward to Olivia, a wealthy countess, and is known for his puritanical demeanor and self-righteous attitude. Malvolio's strict adherence to social order and his disdain for merriment make him a target for the other characters' pranks.
In the play, Malvolio becomes the victim of a scheme orchestrated by Maria, Sir Toby Belch, and Sir Andrew Aguecheek. They trick him into believing that Olivia loves him, leading to his comical downfall. His misguided ambition and eventual humiliation highlight themes of ambition, social class, and the nature of love.
