Male Lions
Male lions are large, powerful animals known for their distinctive manes, which can vary in color from light blonde to dark brown. They typically weigh between 330 to 550 pounds and can reach lengths of up to 8 feet, including their tails. Male lions play a crucial role in their pride, protecting the group from intruders and competing for territory.
In the wild, male lions usually live for about 8 to 12 years, while those in captivity can live longer. They primarily hunt large prey, such as zebras and wildebeests, often working with female lions to bring down their targets.
