Magnus III
Magnus III, also known as Magnus the Good, was a king of Norway who reigned from 1035 to 1047. He was the son of King Olaf II of Norway and became king after the death of his half-brother, King Harald Hardrada. Magnus is known for his efforts to unite Norway and for his campaigns in Denmark.
During his reign, Magnus III focused on strengthening the monarchy and promoting Christianity in Norway. He is remembered for his military successes and for establishing a more centralized government. His reign ended with his death in 1047, after which he was succeeded by his cousin, Harald Hardrada.
