Madrugada
Madrugada is a Norwegian rock band formed in 1993, known for their unique blend of alternative rock and folk influences. The band's music often features melancholic melodies and introspective lyrics, with a sound characterized by the use of guitar, piano, and atmospheric elements. Their debut album, Industrial Silence, released in 1999, received critical acclaim and helped establish their presence in the music scene.
The band's lineup originally included Robert Burås, Frode Jacobsen, and Simen Vangen, with Madrugada gaining popularity in Norway and beyond. They released several successful albums, including The Nightly Disease and Grit, before Burås's untimely death in 2007. Despite this tragedy, the band has continued to perform and create music, maintaining a dedicated fan base.
