Madhvas
Madhvas, also known as followers of Madhvacharya, are adherents of the Dvaita school of philosophy in Hinduism. Founded in the 13th century, this tradition emphasizes a dualistic understanding of the relationship between the individual soul and Brahman, the supreme reality. Madhvas believe that the soul is distinct from God and that devotion to Vishnu is essential for liberation.
The teachings of Madhvacharya focus on the importance of faith, devotion, and the grace of God. His philosophy asserts that while the soul and God are separate, they are interconnected through divine love. Madhvas celebrate various rituals and festivals, particularly those dedicated to Vishnu and his avatars, such as Krishna and Rama.
