Madame Louise de France
Madame Louise de France was the youngest daughter of King Louis XV of France and Queen Marie Leszczyńska. Born on July 15, 1737, she was known for her piety and devotion to religious life. In 1751, she chose to enter a convent, becoming a nun at the Abbey of Montmartre, where she took the name Sister Louise.
Throughout her life, Madame Louise remained largely out of the political spotlight, focusing instead on her spiritual commitments. She was known for her charitable works and dedication to her faith, living a life of simplicity and humility until her death on December 23, 1787.
