Macky Sall
Macky Sall is a Senegalese politician who has served as the President of Senegal since April 2012. He was previously the Prime Minister from 2004 to 2007 and is a member of the Alliance for the Republic party. Sall was elected after defeating the long-time president Abdoulaye Wade in a runoff election.
Born on December 11, 1961, in Fatick, Senegal, Sall studied geology before entering politics. His presidency has focused on economic development, infrastructure projects, and improving governance. He was re-elected in 2019, continuing his efforts to promote growth and stability in the country.
