MV-22 Osprey
The MV-22 Osprey is a tiltrotor military aircraft that combines the vertical takeoff capabilities of a helicopter with the speed and range of a fixed-wing airplane. It is designed to transport troops and cargo in various environments, making it versatile for different missions. The Osprey can take off and land like a helicopter but can also transition to forward flight like an airplane.
Developed by Bell Helicopter and Boeing, the Osprey has been in service with the United States Marine Corps and Air Force since the early 2000s. Its unique design allows it to operate in challenging conditions, providing support for combat and humanitarian operations.
