MUMOK
The MUMOK, or Museum Moderner Kunst Stiftung Ludwig Wien, is a contemporary art museum located in Vienna, Austria. It is one of the largest museums for modern and contemporary art in Central Europe, showcasing a diverse collection that includes works from the 20th and 21st centuries. The museum features pieces by renowned artists such as Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, and Joseph Beuys.
Opened in 2001, the MUMOK is housed in a striking building designed by the architect Christoph M. Kumpusch. The museum not only displays its permanent collection but also hosts temporary exhibitions, educational programs, and events that promote engagement with contemporary art.
