MSZP
The MSZP, or Hungarian Socialist Party, is a political party in Hungary founded in 1989. It emerged from the reform movement of the Hungarian Socialist Workers' Party and has traditionally represented leftist and socialist ideologies. The party aims to promote social justice, workers' rights, and welfare policies.
Throughout its history, the MSZP has been a significant player in Hungarian politics, participating in various coalition governments. It has faced challenges, including declining popularity and internal divisions, particularly in the wake of the 2010 elections when it lost power to the Fidesz party.
