MRI Technology
MRI technology, or Magnetic Resonance Imaging, is a medical imaging technique used to create detailed images of the organs and tissues inside the body. It uses strong magnetic fields and radio waves to generate images, allowing doctors to diagnose various conditions without the need for invasive procedures.
The MRI machine consists of a large magnet and a tube-shaped structure where patients lie down. During the scan, the magnetic field aligns the hydrogen atoms in the body, and radio waves are sent through to produce images. This technology is particularly useful for examining the brain, spine, and joints.
