MRI Scanners
MRI scanners, or Magnetic Resonance Imaging scanners, are medical devices used to create detailed images of the inside of the body. They use strong magnets and radio waves to generate images of organs, tissues, and structures, helping doctors diagnose various conditions without the need for invasive procedures.
During an MRI scan, the patient lies on a table that slides into a large, tube-shaped magnet. The process is painless and typically lasts between 15 to 90 minutes. MRI scans are particularly useful for examining the brain, spine, joints, and soft tissues, providing critical information for treatment planning.
