MRI Angiography
MRI Angiography is a medical imaging technique that uses magnetic resonance imaging to visualize blood vessels in the body. It provides detailed images of arteries and veins without the need for invasive procedures. This technique is particularly useful for diagnosing conditions like aneurysms, stenosis, and other vascular diseases.
During an MRI Angiography procedure, a contrast agent may be injected into a vein to enhance the visibility of blood vessels. The patient lies inside a large magnet, and the machine takes images from different angles. The resulting images help doctors assess blood flow and identify any abnormalities in the vascular system.
