MORENA
MORENA, or the National Regeneration Movement, is a political party in Mexico founded in 2014 by Andrés Manuel López Obrador. It aims to promote social justice, anti-corruption measures, and economic development, focusing on the needs of the marginalized and working-class citizens.
The party gained significant popularity and won the presidency in the 2018 elections, with López Obrador as its candidate. MORENA has since become a major force in Mexican politics, advocating for reforms in various sectors, including education, healthcare, and public safety, while striving to reduce inequality in the country.
