MIDI keyboards
A MIDI keyboard is a musical instrument that allows musicians to create and control sounds using digital signals. Unlike traditional keyboards, MIDI keyboards do not produce sound on their own; instead, they send data to a computer or other devices that generate sound. They typically feature keys, knobs, and pads that can be used to play notes, adjust volume, and trigger various effects.
MIDI stands for Musical Instrument Digital Interface, a standard that enables different electronic instruments and software to communicate with each other. Musicians often use MIDI keyboards in conjunction with digital audio workstations (DAWs) to compose, record, and produce music.
