M2 Medium Tank
The M2 Medium Tank was an American tank developed in the late 1930s and used during World War II. It featured a 37mm gun and was designed to provide better firepower and armor than earlier models. The tank had a distinctive rounded hull and was powered by a gasoline engine, allowing for a top speed of around 25 miles per hour.
Although the M2 Medium Tank saw limited combat, it served as a prototype for future tanks, including the more famous M3 Lee and M4 Sherman. Its design and features influenced tank development during the war, contributing to the evolution of armored warfare.
