M. K. Stalin is an Indian politician and the current Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, a state in southern India. He is the son of the late M. Karunanidhi, a prominent leader of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) party. Stalin has been active in politics for several decades and has held various positions within the DMK, including serving as the Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Stalin was born on March 1, 1953, in Chennai. He became the Chief Minister in May 2021 after the DMK won the state assembly elections.
