Múa rối nước
“Múa rối nước” is a traditional Vietnamese water puppet show that originated in the Red River Delta. This unique art form features puppets made of wood, which are controlled by puppeteers standing behind a screen and manipulating the puppets using long rods. The performances take place in a pool of water, creating a captivating visual experience as the puppets appear to float and dance.
The shows often depict scenes from rural life, folklore, and historical events, accompanied by live music and storytelling. “Múa rối nước” is not only a form of entertainment but also a way to preserve and promote Vietnamese culture and traditions.
