Múa Rối Nước
“Múa Rối Nước” is a traditional Vietnamese water puppet theater that originated in the Red River Delta. This unique art form features puppets made of wood, which are controlled by puppeteers standing behind a screen and manipulating them from behind a water surface. The performances often depict rural life, folklore, and historical tales, accompanied by live music and singing.
The puppets are designed to float on water, creating an enchanting visual experience. The shows typically take place in a pool of water, with the puppeteers hidden behind a bamboo curtain. “Múa Rối Nước” is not only a form of entertainment but also a way to preserve and promote Vietnamese culture and traditions.
