Lynxes
Lynxes are medium-sized wild cats known for their distinctive tufted ears and short tails. They belong to the genus Lynx and are found in various habitats across North America, Europe, and Asia. There are four species of lynx: the Canada lynx, Eurasian lynx, Iberian lynx, and Bobcat. These cats are primarily solitary and are skilled hunters, preying on small mammals and birds.
Lynxes have keen eyesight and excellent hearing, which help them locate prey in dense forests or snowy environments. They are well-adapted to cold climates, with thick fur and large paws that act like snowshoes. Lynxes play an important role in their ecosystems by controlling the populations of their prey species.
