Luiseno language
The Luiseno language is a Native American language traditionally spoken by the Luiseño people in Southern California. It belongs to the Uto-Aztecan language family and is primarily used in the regions around present-day San Diego and Riverside counties.
Although the number of fluent speakers has declined significantly, efforts are being made to revitalize the language through educational programs and community initiatives. The Luiseño language is an important part of the cultural heritage of the Luiseño people, reflecting their history, traditions, and worldview.
