Luis Arce
Luis Arce is a Bolivian economist and politician who has served as the President of Bolivia since November 2020. He is a member of the Movement for Socialism (MAS) party and was previously the Minister of Economy and Public Finance under former President Evo Morales. Arce is known for his role in implementing economic policies that contributed to Bolivia's growth during Morales' administration.
Born on September 28, 1963, in La Paz, Arce studied economics at the University of San Andrés and later earned a master's degree in economics from the University of Illinois. His presidency focuses on economic recovery, social justice, and addressing the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on Bolivia's economy.
