Love Locks
Love Locks are padlocks that couples attach to bridges, fences, or other public structures as a symbol of their love. The tradition involves writing their names or initials on the lock, securing it in place, and then throwing the key into the water below, signifying their unbreakable bond.
This practice has become popular in many cities around the world, including Paris, where the Pont des Arts bridge is famous for its collection of love locks. However, some cities have removed these locks due to concerns about structural damage and the environmental impact of discarded keys.
