Louis-Philippe
Louis-Philippe was the King of the French from 1830 to 1848, known as the "Citizen King" due to his middle-class background. He came to power after the July Revolution, which overthrew the Bourbon monarchy. His reign focused on promoting economic growth and stability in France.
During his rule, Louis-Philippe faced challenges, including social unrest and demands for political reform. His government was criticized for favoring the wealthy and failing to address the needs of the working class. Ultimately, he abdicated in 1848 amid the February Revolution, leading to the establishment of the Second Republic.
