Lostprophets
Lostprophets was a Welsh rock band formed in 1997 in Pontypridd. They gained popularity in the early 2000s with their fusion of alternative rock, post-hardcore, and pop-punk. Their debut album, The Fake Sound of Progress, released in 2000, showcased their energetic sound and lyrical themes, earning them a dedicated fanbase.
The band released several successful albums, including Start Something and Liberation Transmission, featuring hit singles like "Last Train Home" and "Shinobi vs. Dragon Ninja." However, their career ended abruptly in 2013 when lead singer Ian Watkins was convicted of serious criminal offenses, leading to the band's disbandment.
