Loris
Loris is a small, slow-moving primate found in parts of Africa and Asia. They belong to the family Lorisidae and are known for their large eyes and unique ability to rotate their heads almost 180 degrees. Loris species are nocturnal, meaning they are active at night, and they primarily feed on fruits, insects, and small animals.
These primates have a distinctive way of moving, using a slow and deliberate method to avoid detection by predators. Loris are also notable for their toxic bite, which comes from a gland in their elbow that secretes a venomous substance. This adaptation helps them defend against threats in their natural habitat.
