London Orbital Motorway
The London Orbital Motorway, also known as the M25, is a major motorway that encircles Greater London. It spans approximately 117 miles and connects various towns and cities, facilitating the movement of traffic around the capital. Opened in stages between 1975 and 1986, the M25 is one of the busiest motorways in Europe.
The motorway serves as a crucial link for commuters and freight transport, reducing congestion in central London. It features multiple junctions that provide access to key routes, including the M1, M3, and M4 motorways. The M25 is also known for its traffic jams, especially during peak hours.
