London Fire Brigade
The London Fire Brigade (LFB) is the fire and rescue service for Greater London, England. Established in 1866, it is one of the largest fire services in the world, responsible for responding to fires, emergencies, and rescue operations across the city. The brigade operates from over 100 fire stations and employs thousands of firefighters and support staff.
LFB's primary mission is to protect life, property, and the environment from fire and other emergencies. In addition to firefighting, the brigade engages in community safety initiatives, fire prevention education, and training programs to enhance public awareness about fire risks and safety measures.
