Loir River
The Loir River is a tributary of the Sarthe River in western France. It flows for approximately 150 kilometers, starting in the Loir-et-Cher department and winding through the Pays de la Loire region before joining the Sarthe near La Flèche. The river is known for its picturesque landscapes and is surrounded by charming villages and vineyards.
The Loir River is not to be confused with the Loire River, which is much larger and more famous. The Loir is a popular spot for outdoor activities such as fishing, kayaking, and hiking, attracting both locals and tourists who enjoy its natural beauty.
