Lockheed T-33
The Lockheed T-33 is a jet trainer aircraft developed from the Lockheed P-80 Shooting Star. It first flew in 1948 and was designed to help pilots transition from propeller-driven planes to jet aircraft. The T-33 features a single-engine design and can accommodate a student and an instructor in tandem seating.
The T-33 was widely used by the United States Air Force and many other countries for pilot training. Its simple design and reliable performance made it a popular choice, leading to the production of over 5,000 units. The aircraft remained in service for several decades before being phased out in favor of more advanced trainers.
