Lobes of the Brain
The human brain is divided into four main regions called lobes, each responsible for different functions. The frontal lobe is involved in decision-making, problem-solving, and controlling behavior. The parietal lobe processes sensory information, such as touch and temperature, while the temporal lobe plays a key role in hearing and memory. Lastly, the occipital lobe is primarily responsible for visual processing.
These lobes work together to help us navigate the world. Damage to any of these areas can lead to specific deficits, affecting a person's ability to think, feel, or interact with their environment. Understanding these lobes is essential for studying brain function and health.
