Little Owl
The Little Owl is a small bird of prey belonging to the family Strigidae. It is commonly found across Europe, parts of Asia, and North Africa. This owl has a distinctive appearance, characterized by its round head, yellow eyes, and mottled brown and white feathers. It typically measures about 20-25 cm in length and weighs around 150-200 grams.
Little Owls are primarily nocturnal hunters, feeding on insects, small mammals, and birds. They often perch on low branches or rocks during the day, making them easy to spot. Their call is a series of short, sharp hoots, which can be heard at night, especially during the breeding season.
