Litas
The Litas was the official currency of Lithuania from 1922 until 1940 and then again from 1993 until 2014. It was subdivided into 100 centų. The currency symbol for the Litas was "Lt," and it was used in various denominations of coins and banknotes.
In 2015, the Litas was replaced by the Euro as Lithuania's official currency. The transition aimed to enhance economic stability and integration with the European Union. The Litas played a significant role in Lithuania's economic history, reflecting the country's journey towards independence and modernization.
