Liquid Tension Experiment
Liquid Tension Experiment is an instrumental progressive rock supergroup formed in 1997. The band consists of renowned musicians, including John Petrucci and Jordan Rudess from Dream Theater, along with Mike Portnoy, also from Dream Theater, and bassist Tony Levin from King Crimson. They are known for their improvisational style and complex compositions.
The group released their self-titled debut album in 1998, followed by a second album, Liquid Tension Experiment 2, in 1999. Their music features intricate guitar work, dynamic keyboard arrangements, and energetic drumming, showcasing the members' virtuosity and creativity. The band reunited in 2020 to release a third album, Liquid Tension Experiment 3.
