Liquefied Natural Gas
Liquefied Natural Gas, or LNG, is natural gas that has been cooled to a very low temperature, around -162 degrees Celsius, turning it into a liquid. This process reduces its volume by about 600 times, making it easier to store and transport over long distances, especially where pipelines are not feasible.
Once it reaches its destination, LNG can be converted back into gas and used for various purposes, such as heating homes, generating electricity, and fueling vehicles. It is considered a cleaner alternative to other fossil fuels, producing fewer emissions when burned.
