Lindsay Whalen is a former professional basketball player and current head coach of the University of Minnesota women's basketball team. She was born on May 28, 1982, in Hutchinson, Minnesota, and gained fame as a point guard in the WNBA, where she played for the Minnesota Lynx and the Connecticut Sun.
