Linda Lovelace
Linda Lovelace was an American actress best known for her role in the controversial adult film Deep Throat, released in 1972. Born on January 10, 1949, in The Bronx, New York, she became a prominent figure in the adult film industry during the 1970s. Her performance in Deep Throat made her a household name, but it also sparked significant debate about the ethics of adult entertainment.
Later in her life, Lovelace became an anti-pornography activist, speaking out against the exploitation she experienced in the industry. She published her autobiography, Ordeal, in 1980, detailing her experiences and the coercion she faced while making adult films. Lovelace passed away on February 8, 2002.
