Light Switches
A light switch is a simple device used to control the flow of electricity to a light fixture. When you flip the switch on, it completes the electrical circuit, allowing electricity to flow and the light to turn on. Conversely, flipping the switch off breaks the circuit, stopping the flow of electricity and turning the light off.
Light switches come in various types, including toggle switches, rocker switches, and dimmer switches. They are typically mounted on walls and are designed for easy access. Most light switches operate on standard household voltage, making them safe and convenient for everyday use.
