Light Armoured Vehicles
Light Armoured Vehicles (LAVs) are military vehicles designed for mobility and protection. They are typically equipped with armor to shield against small arms fire and shrapnel while remaining lightweight for quick maneuverability. LAVs can be used for various roles, including reconnaissance, troop transport, and support in combat situations.
These vehicles often feature wheels instead of tracks, allowing them to travel faster on roads and rough terrain. Many LAVs are armed with machine guns or cannons, providing firepower while maintaining a low profile. Examples of LAVs include the Canadian Forces' LAV III and the US Army's Stryker.
