Lichun (Spring)
Lichun, or the "Beginning of Spring," is the first solar term in the traditional Chinese calendar, marking the arrival of spring. It usually falls around February 4th each year. This period signifies the end of winter and the start of warmer weather, encouraging the growth of plants and the awakening of nature.
During Lichun, various customs and celebrations take place in China. People often engage in activities like planting seeds and enjoying seasonal foods. It is also a time for families to gather and celebrate the renewal of life, symbolizing hope and new beginnings as the days grow longer and warmer.
