Level 1 Charger
A Level 1 Charger is a basic charging option for electric vehicles (EVs) that uses a standard household outlet. It typically provides 120 volts of electricity, allowing EV owners to charge their vehicles at home without needing special equipment. This method is the slowest way to charge an EV, often taking several hours or overnight to fully charge the battery.
While convenient for overnight charging, a Level 1 Charger is not ideal for quick top-ups. For faster charging, EV owners may consider Level 2 Chargers, which use 240 volts and can significantly reduce charging time.
