Letitia James
Letitia James is an American attorney and politician serving as the Attorney General of New York since January 2019. She is the first woman and the first African American to hold this position. Before becoming Attorney General, James served as the Public Advocate for New York City and was a member of the New York City Council.
As Attorney General, James focuses on issues such as consumer protection, civil rights, and environmental justice. She has gained national attention for her investigations into various high-profile cases, including those involving the Trump Organization and efforts to combat opioid addiction in the state.
