Lepus constellation
The Lepus constellation is a small constellation located in the southern sky. It is often depicted as a hare, and its name comes from the Latin word for "hare." Lepus is situated just below the Orion constellation, making it easy to spot during winter months in the Northern Hemisphere.
Lepus contains several notable stars, including Alpha Leporis, also known as Arneb, which is the brightest star in the constellation. The constellation also features a few deep-sky objects, such as the Lepus Nebula, which can be observed with telescopes.
