Lenticular Clouds
Lenticular clouds are unique, lens-shaped clouds that form at high altitudes, typically in the presence of strong winds. They occur when moist air flows over mountains or hills, creating a wave-like pattern. As the air rises and cools, it condenses into these distinct cloud formations, often resembling UFOs.
These clouds can appear stationary, even when the wind is blowing, due to their formation process. Lenticular clouds are often associated with turbulent weather and can indicate the presence of strong winds aloft. They can also produce beautiful visual displays, especially during sunrise or sunset, when they catch the light.
