Lekki Port
Lekki Port is a deep-sea port located in the Lekki Free Trade Zone in Lagos State, Nigeria. It is designed to handle large cargo ships and is expected to significantly boost trade and economic activities in the region. The port aims to reduce congestion at the existing Apapa Port and improve the efficiency of cargo handling in Nigeria.
Construction of Lekki Port began in 2018, and it is being developed by Lekki Port LFTZ Enterprise. Once fully operational, it will feature modern facilities, including container terminals and a multi-purpose terminal, enhancing Nigeria's position as a key player in maritime trade in West Africa.
