League of Communists of Serbia
The League of Communists of Serbia was a political party in Yugoslavia that emerged in the early 20th century. It was part of the broader League of Communists, which was the ruling party in Yugoslavia from the end of World War II until the early 1990s. The party played a significant role in the country's socialist government and was influential in shaping its policies.
In the late 1980s, the League of Communists of Serbia faced internal conflicts and challenges due to rising nationalism and economic issues. In 1990, it was officially dissolved and transformed into the Socialist Party of Serbia, marking a significant shift in the political landscape of the region.
