Laxmi Agarwal
Laxmi Agarwal is an Indian activist known for her work in advocating against acid attacks and for the rights of acid attack survivors. Born in 1990, she became a victim of such an attack in 2005 when she was just 15 years old. Her experience led her to become a prominent voice in raising awareness about the issue and fighting for stricter laws against acid attacks in India.
In addition to her activism, Laxmi has been involved in various initiatives to support survivors, including the establishment of the Chhanv Foundation. She has also been featured in media and documentaries, highlighting her journey and the importance of social change regarding violence against women.
