Laxey Wheel
The Laxey Wheel, also known as the Great Laxey Wheel, is a large waterwheel located in Laxey, a village on the Isle of Man. Built in 1854, it was designed to pump water from the nearby Laxey mines, which were known for their lead and zinc production. Standing at 22 meters (72 feet) tall, it is the largest working waterwheel in the world.
