Law School Admission Council (LSAC)
The Law School Admission Council (LSAC) is a nonprofit organization that provides services to law schools and prospective law students in the United States and Canada. It is best known for administering the Law School Admission Test (LSAT), a standardized exam that assesses reading and verbal reasoning skills essential for success in law school.
In addition to the LSAT, the LSAC offers various resources, including the Credential Assembly Service (CAS), which streamlines the law school application process. The organization also conducts research and provides information to help improve legal education and access to the legal profession.
