Laura Plantation is a historic site located in Vacherie, Louisiana, along the banks of the Mississippi River. Established in the early 19th century, it was originally a sugar plantation and is known for its rich history and cultural significance. The plantation is named after Laura Locoul Gore, who wrote a memoir detailing her experiences growing up there.
